Fermet & Fizz Pop Up

In celebration of Chuseok, we were thrilled to host our very first pop up with our friends at Embassy Restaurant, in Gangnam.

The theme: Ferment & Fizz. A celebration of the long history Korea has with fermentation—namely kimchi and magkeolli.

Both locals and visitors from around the globe attended and enjoyed the delicious pre-fixe menu of five (5) artisan kimchi bites, expertly crafted at the hands of Chefs Yeongseok Jang and Sous Chef Andrew Kim. The menu bites included:

🇰🇷 Amberjack Ceviche

🇰🇷 Charsiu Bao

🇰🇷 Cucumber & Taramasalata

In addition to the menu, guests enjoyed two handcrafted magkeolli cocktails: Ginger Yuzu Fizz and a Yuzu Smash.

It was a fun event sharing the joys and wonders of modern Korean cuisine with a wonderful group of attendees. We are thankful for Embassy Restaurant for partnering with us and providing a lovely space for our dinners, and look forward to our next pop up.
